I want to avoid anything controversial, and for good reasons, as I explain in my DeviantArt journal about this topic. ![]() Could be easy to guess letters without saying the names of the diacritics, at least for Japanese, but what about modifier glyphs for gemination in that language? A lot to accommodate.Īn extra factor, I'm thinking of a satire of the lack of standardization in which the algorithm suggests not only a gallows, or nothing there to indicate the gallows as part of the hangman drawing leading to four incorrect guesses, and a gallows with a noose that's actually the head(for complex rounds) but also apples or other fruits to cross off a tree(though different types of trees exist for the many types of fruits that grow on trees), etc. ![]() Now, given that different writing systems exist, of different operations, different alignments, different directions, and different structuring, it could leave people to wonder how Hangman could accommodate for different writing systems like Valyrian writing in House of the Dragon, Thai writing, Tibetan writing, etc., especially given the diacritics that scripts could use. No romanizations of conlangs not written with the Latin script would be included, and also, players possess a button that could allow for a random selection of a prize, then they could guess a glyph based on the names of the glyphs in the writing system the puzzle is set to. The puzzles could be randomly generated via a computer algorithm, with the puzzle being something of any random language, be it English, a foreign one, or a popular or underdog conlang, including Peterson's many, the Elvish languages, Klingon, Atlantean, Biblaridion's conlangs, etc. Puzzles can be individual words or entire phrases, though limitations would be needed. The aim of the series is people play Hangman, though it incorporates elements of Wheel of Fortune and Josh's spelling bee idea, minus the wheel. I'm thinking of, inspired by the existence of Wheel of Fortune(which I've been familiar with since 2006/2007) and Joshua Rudder(NativLang)'s idea for spelling different words of different languages in different writing systems, an idea for a ridiculous crossover game show with live-action people and fictional animated characters, as well as OC characters by various people and underdogs, being either solo or in teams, like a team consisting of Marcy, Libby, and Kiff competing with a team consisting of Lincoln, Shelby, and Ronnie Anne for example, just to give people the idea. ![]()
